To give you a real feel of our courses and the supportive environment we foster at allWomen, we have asked Paula Garaventa, Candelaria Zizzi, Daniela Letichevskaya and Jessica Wright some of our many amazing ambassadors, to answer a few questions 👇
What motivated you to join an allWomen bootcamp?
“As someone who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and grow, I saw the allWomen’s bootcamp as an exciting next step in my career. My sociology background gave me a strong analytical foundation, and I was eager to translate these skills into cutting-edge technical expertise. AllWomen stood out as the perfect opportunity, with its unique combination of rigorous technical training and a collaborative environment where women empower each other. I knew this was the kind of dynamic, supportive space where I could thrive and take my career to the next level.” – Paula Garaventa
“I knew I wanted to transition into tech, but figuring out where to start felt overwhelming. I explored various fields—UX, full-stack Development—but none felt like the right fit. Then, I discovered Data, and everything clicked. I loved how it combined technical skills like coding with problem-solving, user analysis, and critical thinking—the perfect balance between human intelligence and technology.
During my research, I kept hearing about allWomen—from professionals I spoke with and through outstanding online reviews. Unlike other programs, what stood out to me was their warm, inclusive, and supportive environment. I wasn’t just another number; I felt truly valued as a candidate—and most importantly, I wasn’t constantly pressured by calls and emails, unlike other educational centres offering bootcamps.
The bootcamp’s practical length, affordability, and focus on women in tech made it the ideal choice for me. Besides, coming from a design background, I was initially concerned about the job search after the program, but seeing so many allWomen graduates successfully working in the field reassured me—it was a strong reference point that gave me confidence in my decision. In the end, it turned out to be the perfect launchpad into data.” – Candelaria Zizzi
“I chose the AW product management bootcamp because of the appeal to learn from industry leaders and get practical experience and advice (a way to speed up my learning journey about a topic that was not very tangible for me at the time). I also really liked the fact that it was a service for women by women but this was not the main reason why I joined the program. I wanted to have a place where I could ask all my questions and learn quickly about the things I didn’t know I didn’t know.” – Daniela Letichevskaya
“I have a master’s in web content design and creation, where I then specialised in helping authors build their presence through strategic no-code and low-code opportunities. However, as my interest in new technology like AI and blockchain developed, I felt like my skills were really out of the loop. I’ve also been a team of one for over a decade. I knew that to make the professional progress I wanted, I needed to reskill by finding a strong introduction to the current state of UX/UI.” – Jessica Wright
What was your experience like during the bootcamp?
“Balancing work and studying data was undoubtedly challenging, but allWomen’s supportive environment made it both manageable and rewarding. The unique aspect of learning alongside other professional women created an atmosphere of mutual understanding and encouragement. Our instructors didn’t just teach technical skills – they provided real-world context and mentorship that helped us apply our learning immediately in our careers. The collaborative projects and peer-to-peer learning opportunities enriched my understanding far beyond what individual study could have achieved.” – Paula Garaventa
“The bootcamp was intense—I won’t deny that at the beginning, I felt a bit overwhelmed. But thanks to the supportive environment, incredible teachers, and encouraging colleagues, I quickly gained confidence and felt motivated to keep learning. In the end, the experience was truly rewarding and transformative.
One of the biggest highlights was the hands-on approach—constant practical exercises, challenging tasks, Slack channel with all of my classmates and teachers, and a final project designed to help us start building our personal portfolios. The strong sense of support and collaboration made all the difference.
I would also like to mention the international environment where I got to work with women from all around the world.” – Candelaria Zizzi
“Overall it was a very eye opening experience. Hearing firsthand advice and examples from the instructors was very insightful and gave me a lot of perspective on how to approach product managers and the product life cycle. It was also great to learn all the tools and techniques that product teams use.” – Daniela Letichevskaya
“The bootcamp came during a really challenging time. I had burnout and was going through a very large personal change. Going through this course with a group of strong women, though, was something I looked forward to every single week. It was a safe spot. It gave me the courage to ask stupid questions, to learn from my peers, and to speak with high-quality mentors who wanted to help you professionally as well as personally.” – Jessica Wright
How did the bootcamp help you transition or advance in your career?
“The bootcamp was transformative for my career trajectory. The practical skills and strategic guidance I received enabled me to immediately enhance my impact at my previous role. The instructors helped me apply analytical and data science concepts to real business challenges, which directly contributed to improving operational efficiency and driving revenue growth. This hands-on experience, combined with the technical expertise I gained, strengthened my professional profile. The bootcamp gave me both the technical foundation and the confidence that continue to benefit my career.” – Paula Garaventa
“The bootcamp not only provided me with the technical skills and problem-solving mindset needed to break into the data field but also gave me the confidence and encouragement to take the leap. Beyond coding, I learnt to approach challenges analytically, collaborate in teams, and build a strong personal profile that showcased both my skills and past experience—crucial for job interviews during a career transition.
We also had career sessions and expert guidance, along with recommendations on additional topics to explore for further skill development. This helped me dive deeper into the data world and navigate the job market more effectively.
As someone living in Spain, I also found it incredibly valuable that the entire bootcamp was conducted in English. It allowed me to refresh my English skills while also learning essential business and industry vocabulary—something I knew would be beneficial for future career opportunities.
It was not easy; I was really proactive in job searching but, in the end, just one month after completing the bootcamp, I landed a position as a Data Analyst—and I’m still here today. So I can confidently say that allWomen fully prepared me for the job!” – Candelaria Zizzi
“I never intended to become a product manager, but I do work very closely with product teams, so the bootcamp was an excellent way for me to become an expert and give more depth and impact to my work as a strategic program manager. After the bootcamp, I felt 100% comfortable around product discussions and was able to guide and actively participate in strategic discussions around product strategy, readiness, GTM, etc. Today, I work at a fintech company and apply all my product knowledge in OPS (treating ops like a product myself).
A mini success story is that after the bootcamp my final project went so well that I was recommended to contact the project sponsor (GoZeroWaste) and I ended up doing some consulting work for them for a couple of months to help them with their product proposition and strategy.” – Daniela Letichevskaya
“I was employed in a full-time product design role within six weeks of leaving the bootcamp and am currently working to produce my final project. Since I left the bootcamp, I now work independently as a freelancer and run independent educational opportunities within the Web3 and Blockchain ecosystem. I’m passionate about helping designers transition and onboarding more women into blockchain.
AllWomen also gave me the courage to work with founders and developers who have never worked with designers before, helping them to understand the process and the roles of design in product, and also knowing when to step away when a project isn’t right for my skill set.” – Jessica Wright
What advice would you give to someone considering joining allWomen?
“Take the leap- it’s an investment in yourself that pays dividends far beyond technical skills. When I started, I was simply curious about data analytics, but what I discovered was a whole new way of approaching problems and creating value. The bootcamp doesn’t just teach you how to work with data; it shows you how to think analytically, solve complex problems, and communicate insights effectively. The skills you gain here open doors you might not even know existed. My journey from curious beginner to confident data professional is proof of the transformation possible.” – Paula Garaventa
“If you’re considering it—go for it! It’s an investment in yourself. Be ready to step out of your comfort zone, put in the work, and trust the process. You don’t need to have all the answers before starting—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
There will be moments that feel overwhelming, but the supportive and trustworthy learning environment makes all the difference. And—this feels important to say—if I had to choose again, I would absolutely do it all over again!” – Candelaria Zizzi
“Google is your best friend. The journey does not stop when you finish the bootcamp. Ask all your questions and ask for examples. The bootcamp is an intense and immersive experience, so be ready to get your hands dirty.” – Daniela Letichevskaya
“Do it –– but don’t do it halfway. You need to commit to each class, take advantage of the mentors, learn from your classmates, ask questions, and make the most of your time here. I was amazed by the final projects of my classmates, and if you do it right, you’ll leave the cohort with a group of women in your field who also want to see you succeed. It’s not just learning; it’s building your industry network, and that is invaluable.” – Jessica Wright
How has being part of the allWomen community helped you beyond the bootcamp?
“The allWomen network has proven invaluable throughout my professional journey. It’s a vibrant community of talented professionals across Europe who genuinely support each other’s growth. As an active member of this network, I’ve both received and provided mentorship, shared job opportunities, and collaborated on exciting projects. The connections I’ve made extend far beyond professional networking – they’re meaningful relationships with fellow data enthusiasts who understand the unique challenges and opportunities in our field. Whether you’re seeking career advice, technical guidance, or simply want to connect with like-minded professionals, the allWomen community continues to be an incredible resource.
