Most AI transformation programmes follow the same arc. A leadership decision, a budget approval, a tool rollout, a launch communication, and then, six months later, the same resistance, the same low adoption numbers, and the same unspoken question about what isn’t working.
The technology was not the issue. The people strategy was.
That gap was the subject of a live working session we hosted with Lidia López Trabalon, change management and AI adoption strategist, and our CEO Laura Fernández Giménez.
What you’ll take back to work
The session builds a clear picture of why most AI programmes fail once the human side of transformation gets ignored, and what that failure actually looks like inside a team. It covers concrete communication strategies for shifting resistance into curiosity and engagement, and what it takes for a leader to become a role model for their team while still managing real uncertainty. It closes with a live AI Fluency for Leaders demo: building a custom AI analyst in Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini that scans your key sources and delivers a structured weekly briefing on corporate innovation straight to your inbox, built live so you can replicate it the same day.
How the session was structured
The 60 minutes ran in four parts. The first 15 minutes covered the recurring lessons from AI transformation programmes and how to shift resistance and improve adoption. The next 15 minutes went into communication frameworks and quick wins to apply within a team. The following 15 minutes were the AI Fluency for Leaders demo, a live build of a custom AI analyst for corporate innovation intelligence. The session closed with a live Q&A.
About the speakers
Lidia López Trabalon specialises in the human side of AI adoption: the resistance, the communication gaps, and the conditions that determine whether adoption actually sticks. Her work focuses on what needs to shift in leadership conversations and team dynamics before any tool gets opened.
Laura Fernández Giménez leads allWomen, a firm that works with mid-market companies on AI adoption, capability building, and organisational transformation. She designs and facilitates AI Labs, working sessions where teams build real capability through doing rather than listening.
allWomen works with companies on AI adoption, capabilities, and transformation. All programmes are designed and delivered by a global network of female industry experts.
