When it comes to the female body, there are many ways in which technology can help women stay healthier for longer, particularly when it comes to breast health and the fight against breast cancer.

In 2020 alone, there were 2.3 million women diagnosed with breast cancer globally. Luckily, we’re seeing a lot more funding going towards this sector, as we further prioritize preventing, diagnosing, and combatting this form of cancer that affects women more than any other kind around the world.

Not to mention, the racial bias that affects breast health: a new study has found that black women are more likely to receive inferior breast cancer screenings than white women, something that we have to change culturally alongside the development of new technology.

Positive ground has been broken in this journey including the advancement in artificial intelligence that helps to both detect breast cancer and provide women with the ability to find better healthcare services.

Here are some really cool projects and technologies that are aiding in this battle!
